DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Directs activities of the communication’s division’s administration and finance operation by scheduling and assigning work, determining methods for doing work, checking quality of work, answering questions, handling personnel issues, and monitoring workflow to ensure timely completion of activities.
- Assist the Director/CEO with management of daily telecommunications operations of the cooperative. Participates in policy development and interprets and administers programs according to policies and procedures.
- Prepares long and short-term budgets and work plans used in implementation. Monitors adherence to budgets and work plans to ensure objectives are met.
- Evaluates viability of new technology and service offerings for continued company development and expansion.
- Reviews compensation arrangements to ensure that settlements, pooling, and access revenues are maintained and regulatory changes affecting revenue requirements are communicated to appropriate staff.
- Demonstrated experience of developing new business and building successful relationships.
- Ability to develop and manage sales opportunities. New business savvy.
- Performs special projects as requested by the Director/CEO.
- Insure communications, broadband, cable television/internet facilities are completed and constructed correctly by the technicians.
- Performs all other duties as assigned by the Director/CEO.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in management or equivalent
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in telecom or construction management.
- Skill in reading and understand financial reports, industry regulations, and proposed legislation.
- Ability to communicate with customers, employees, and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner.
- Have a good experience in troubleshooting Building Maintenance in all aspect.
- Ability to organize and prioritise multiple work assignments and can make sound decisions using information at hand.
- Preferably have knowledge in telecommunications industry particularly in operations, technology, and equipment.
- Preferably can read and interpret telecommunication plans.
- Preferably knowledgeable in Fiber optic and telephone cable.
- Familiar with basic and standard telecommunication practices.
